Wine Art for Sale...

Wine and art have developed an interesting and symbiotic relationship over the years.  More than one famous artist has found inspiration in a good bottle of wine, and many wine lovers also appreciate fine art.  In keeping with that connection between art and wine, the site will begin to offer sales of quality reproductions of paintings depicting wine venues around the world.   A description of the first of such works follows.

Artist Dorothy Moncrieff’s most recent work depicts the famous wine village of La Morra, Italy, one of just a few towns producing the prodigious Barolo wine.  The piece has been made into 100 fine quality numbered reproductions, each signed by the artist.  These sell for $100.00 each.  There are also posters of the work available at $25.00 each.  A photograph of the poster is pictured below. Each reproduction is 24” x 36”, with the poster having a white border of approximately 3-5 inches around the artwork.  To see the photograph that inspired Dorothy’s painting, and for some further information about La Morra, see the July issue of this website by going to the links page, previous issues section.  Either the signed and numbered print or the poster may be ordered from this website through the contact page.
