November 19, Wednesday:  The Las Vegas Wine Tasting Meetup group hosts a Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet tasting featuring fine wines served in lead-free wine stem glasses from Bottega del Vino Crystal beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Art Institute of Las Vegas at 2350 Corporate Circle, Henderson.  The admission of $50.00 includes the tasting, the tasting glass, and appetizers.   For more information call (402)990-0889.


November 22, Saturday:  Lee’s Discount Liquors presents the 6th annual “Wine Experience” at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel & Casino from 3-8:00 p.m.  Admission, $40.00 in advance or $50.00 at the door.  Price includes wine tasting and light food.  For more details, contact any Lee’s, or corporate office at (702)451-0100.

Most Wednesdays and Thursdays:  Wine tastings at Khoury’s Fine Wine & Spirits.  No charge.  Tastings usually take place from 6:00-8:00 p,m. on Wednesday at the Khoury’s store located at 7150 S. Durango, Las Vegas, or at the same time on Thursdays at the Khoury’s store located at 9915 S. Most Thursdays:  Wine tasting and food sampling at the Les Kincaid radio show from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Become part of a live radio show with host Les Kincaid, who teaches cooking and wine appreciation at UNLV.  Each week, Les visits a different restaurant where he offers cooking tips and explains why that venue’s food is paired with the wines offered at the event.  Cost varies depending on food and wine served, but admission generally begins at $15.00.  For more information, visit his website at www.leskincaid.com .
