June 12-14, Friday-Sunday: Charlie Palmer’s Aureole at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino hosts “wine weekend” with five different wine events and 68 exquisite wines paired with gourmet foods served at the Aureole Restaurant. The event begins Friday afternoon and concludes with a Sunday morning breakfast. Price of $1,350 per couple includes two nights lodging at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, reservations at all related wine events and two etched Riedel Sommelier Burgundy wine glasses. June 19, Friday: Rock’n Roll Wine kicks off the summer season with wine tasting party atop the Strip, at the amazing Mix nightclub on the 64th floor of The Hotel at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. Event runs from 7:00-10:00 p.m. and features wine tasting of more than 20 wines from around the globe and live entertainment, plus a $10.00 coupon good for selected wines at Khoury’s Fine Wine & Spirits and Lee’s Discount Liquors. June 20, Saturday: Monte Lago Village and the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southern Nevada present Vino di Lago, Wine by the Water, at the Monte Lago Village at Lake Las Vegas. The event features tasting from 20 different wine stations and live entertainment from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Proceeds go to the MDA. June 24, Wednesday: Smith & Wollensky, located at 3767 Las Vegas Boulevard, hosts a wine dinner featuring a five course meal paired with wines from the Napa Valley’s iconic Robert Mondavi winery.
